A Vienna Nonprofit Organization Spreading Love Through Education and Service in Our Northern Virginia Community
Belong! is a 501(c)(3) local non-profit organization based in Vienna, VA that is committed to empowering and equipping underserved individuals and families in our community so that they can have equal opportunities for success.
Our Story
In 2017, members of Vienna Presbyterian Church (VPC) held a series of meetings with individuals, churches, public entities, nonprofits, and local business owners to listen to neighbors’ concerns and find ways to address the needs of our community. As a result of these conversations, Belong! was founded in 2018 with the goal of responding to tangible needs, cultivating relationships, and serving the under-resourced community in Vienna.
Our Work
Belong! is a steadfast supporter of the underserved population in our community. We work to transform children’s and parents' lives through education (e.g., after-school programs, enriching activities, nutrition classes, parenting classes, college scholarships), organize and encourage families to participate in community-building activities/service projects, bridge additional resources and support networks to our community, and provide emergency relief in times of need.
Belong! supports and provides hope to struggling families by addressing their keenly felt needs thanks to our wonderful connections at VPC, donors, pool of volunteers, enthusiastic staff, and local network. We are building a stronger community together!
